Code P008C (Fuel Cooler Pump Control Circuit/Open) sets when the ECM detects an open circuit or out-of-range current while driving the auxiliary fuel cooler circulation pump used to keep returned fuel temperature in range. Causes are a seized or failed pump motor, a blown fuse, or damaged wiring between the ECM/relay and the pump.
