Family: HV Battery Pack Airflow Valve
Code P0AD8: Hybrid/EV Battery Pack Air Flow Valve A Control Circuit High
Diagnostic & Technical Explanation
Code P0AD8 sets when the control module commands the HV battery pack's cooling air-flow valve or damper to a position and the feedback signal or resulting duct airflow does not match the commanded state. The most common physical causes are debris lodged in the duct preventing the damper blade from reaching a commanded position, a corroded or unseated actuator connector, and a worn actuator motor or linkage. This valve applies only to air-cooled pack designs and controls duct airflow rather than liquid coolant, so it should not be confused with the pack's liquid-coolant control valve, a separate physical assembly used on liquid-cooled platforms.
