System: Powertrain (P-Code)
SAE Standard (Generic)
Family: Throttle Actuator Module Fault
Code P211F: Throttle Actuator B Control Module Performance
Diagnostic & Technical Explanation
Code P211F (Throttle Actuator B Control Module Performance) is an internal self-check failure inside the ECM/TAC processor circuitry that drives the electronic throttle, distinct from a fault in the throttle body hardware itself. A corrupted or outdated engine control module calibration, an internal driver-stage failure inside the processor, and a marginal power/ground supply to the module during the self-test are the typical causes.
