Code P24C6: Particulate Matter Sensor Temperature Circuit

Diagnostic & Technical Explanation
Code P24C6 (Particulate Matter Sensor Temperature Circuit) sets when the ECM sees an open, shorted, out-of-range, or intermittent signal from the temperature sensor integrated into the particulate matter sensor assembly, used to confirm the sensing element has reached the temperature needed for an accurate soot reading. Because this thermistor lives inside the sealed PM sensor body, causes are limited to the sensor's internal element, its connector, or the wiring back to the ECM.
