Code P2528: Vacuum Reservoir Pressure Sensor Circuit High

Diagnostic & Technical Explanation
Code P2528 (Vacuum Reservoir Pressure Sensor Circuit High) sets when the ECM sees an open, shorted, or implausible signal from the pressure sensor monitoring the vacuum reservoir that supplies actuators such as the brake booster or emissions valves. Causes are a corroded sensor connector, a cracked sensor housing losing its vacuum seal, or wiring chafed near the reservoir's engine-bay mounting location.
