Code P2753: Transmission Fluid Cooler Control Circuit/Open

Diagnostic & Technical Explanation
Code P2753 (Transmission Fluid Cooler Control Circuit/Open) sets when the TCM detects an open circuit, a short to ground, or a short to voltage while driving the transmission fluid cooler's control valve or auxiliary cooler fan that regulates how much fluid is routed through the cooler. Causes are a failed cooler control solenoid, transmission fluid varnish sticking the cooler bypass element, or damaged control wiring along the cooler lines at the front of the vehicle.
