AC Refrigerant Pressure Sensor Circuit

Diagnostic & Technical Explanation
Code P0530 (A/C Refrigerant Pressure Sensor A Circuit) sets when the ECM/HVAC module sees an open, shorted, or implausible signal from the A/C refrigerant pressure sensor, or determines refrigerant charge has been lost. Because a low-charge system reads as an implausibly low, flat pressure signal, the two fault types share a diagnostic path: a refrigerant leak at a fitting, hose, or component, a failed pressure sensor/transducer, or a corroded sensor connector.

These 11 diagnostic trouble codes share one detection mechanism and one repair path, which is why MechanicDB groups them into a single authored fault family rather than repeating the same explanation 11 times.
