Code P2430 (AIR System Air Flow/Pressure Sensor Circuit Bank 1) sets when the ECM sees an open, shorted, or implausible signal from the secondary air injection system's air flow/pressure sensor, used to confirm the AIR pump is actually delivering air into the exhaust during its post-cold-start cycle. Causes are a sensor degraded by condensation and exhaust backflow, a corroded connector near the exhaust manifold, or wiring chafed by heat-cycling close to the exhaust.
