Alt Fuel Misfire Detected

Diagnostic & Technical Explanation
Code P2E58 (Alternative Fuel Random/Multiple Cylinder Misfire Detected) sets when the ECM's misfire monitor detects a combustion event failure specific to alternative-fuel operation, on a single cylinder, multiple/random cylinders, or under a low-fuel condition. Because CNG/LPG burns differently than gasoline, a misfire that only appears on alternative fuel usually traces to a fouled or worn spark plug that cannot ignite the leaner mixture, an injector delivering too little vapor, or fuel pressure sagging as the tank runs low.

These 10 diagnostic trouble codes share one detection mechanism and one repair path, which is why MechanicDB groups them into a single authored fault family rather than repeating the same explanation 10 times.
