Battery Charger Control Circuit

Diagnostic & Technical Explanation
Code P0E60 sets when the onboard charger's enable/control circuit does not report the status the control module expects after a charge-session enable command, or the control line itself reads outside its valid voltage range. The most common physical causes are a corroded or unseated low-voltage connector on the enable line, chafed control wiring between the charger and the vehicle's charging control module, and a charger that has failed internally and never begins a charge session when commanded. Because this handshake happens before any AC input or HV output activity begins, a fault here typically prevents a charge session from starting at all rather than interrupting one in progress.

These 13 diagnostic trouble codes share one detection mechanism and one repair path, which is why MechanicDB groups them into a single authored fault family rather than repeating the same explanation 13 times.
