Charge Port Door Position Sensor

Diagnostic & Technical Explanation
Code P0CCC sets when the control module detects an implausible signal from the charge port door's position sensor — a low-voltage potentiometer or Hall sensor confirming the door is fully open or closed, unrelated to the resolver-based position sensing used on the drive motor and generator. The most common physical causes are a corroded or unseated connector at the charge-port sensor, a mechanically worn or misaligned door hinge that never reaches the sensor's expected end-of-travel position, and chafed low-voltage signal wiring in the fender/quarter-panel harness run. Because this sensor operates entirely on the 12V side of the vehicle, no HV lockout is required to diagnose or replace it.

These 10 diagnostic trouble codes share one detection mechanism and one repair path, which is why MechanicDB groups them into a single authored fault family rather than repeating the same explanation 10 times.
