Charging System HV Interlock

Diagnostic & Technical Explanation
Code P0D15 sets when the charging-system HV interlock loop — the same daisy-chained low-voltage sense principle as the vehicle-wide interlock, but scoped specifically to the charger's HV connectors and junction-box lids — does not read a closed circuit, so the system inhibits charging as a safety measure. The most common physical causes are a charger-side connector cover or junction-box lid that vibrated loose, a pinched or broken interlock wire within the charger's wiring harness, and a failed interlock-sense pin inside a charger connector. Because this loop only covers the charging-system hardware, a fault here inhibits charging specifically without necessarily affecting the vehicle's ability to drive.

These 10 diagnostic trouble codes share one detection mechanism and one repair path, which is why MechanicDB groups them into a single authored fault family rather than repeating the same explanation 10 times.
