Clutch Actuator Position Sensor

Diagnostic & Technical Explanation
Code P2C4A (Clutch Actuator Position Sensor Circuit) covers the position sensor confirming a single automated-clutch actuator (used on automated manual transmissions) has moved to its commanded engagement point, along with the actuator's own performance check. The ECM flags an open, shorted, implausible, or intermittent signal, or a performance deviation. Causes are a worn sensor track from constant actuator motion, hydraulic air in the actuator circuit masking true position, or a corroded connector at the actuator housing.

These 6 diagnostic trouble codes share one detection mechanism and one repair path, which is why MechanicDB groups them into a single authored fault family rather than repeating the same explanation 6 times.
