Clutch Position Sensor Circuit

Diagnostic & Technical Explanation
Code P0805 (Clutch Position Sensor A Circuit) sets when the TCM sees an open, shorted, or implausible signal from the automated clutch actuator's position sensor, a not-learned zero point, a control error, or excessive measured clutch slippage on an automated manual transmission. Causes are sensor wear, a lost calibration after service, hydraulic air in the actuator circuit, or a worn clutch disc causing excess slip.

These 14 diagnostic trouble codes share one detection mechanism and one repair path, which is why MechanicDB groups them into a single authored fault family rather than repeating the same explanation 14 times.
