Control Module Wakeup Circuit

Diagnostic & Technical Explanation
Code P24EF (Control Module Wake-up Circuit/Open) sets when a control module's wake-up input, the signal that brings the module out of sleep mode when the vehicle is unlocked or another module requests network activity, reads open, shorted low, or shorted high. Causes are a failed wake-up relay or diode, a corroded connector at the module, or damaged wiring on the wake-up line shared with other body/network modules.

These 3 diagnostic trouble codes share one detection mechanism and one repair path, which is why MechanicDB groups them into a single authored fault family rather than repeating the same explanation 3 times.
