Cruise Control Servo Actuator Circuit

Diagnostic & Technical Explanation
Code P0525 (Cruise Control Servo Control Circuit Range/Performance) sets when the ECM detects an open circuit or out-of-range voltage while driving the cruise control servo (electronic throttle interface) or, on older vacuum-actuated systems, the vacuum/vent solenoids that move the throttle cable. Causes are a failed servo motor or vacuum solenoid, a leaking vacuum diaphragm/hose, or damaged control wiring to the actuator.

These 10 diagnostic trouble codes share one detection mechanism and one repair path, which is why MechanicDB groups them into a single authored fault family rather than repeating the same explanation 10 times.
