DCT Clutch Pressure Sensor

Diagnostic & Technical Explanation
Code P28CD (Clutch A Pressure Sensor Circuit/Open) sets when the TCM sees an open, shorted, out-of-range, or implausible signal from the hydraulic pressure sensor measuring clutch A or B apply pressure inside a dual-clutch transmission's mechatronic unit. Fluid contamination fouling the sensor port, a corroded pin at the mechatronic connector, and an internally drifted sensor element are the common causes, and on many units the sensor is part of the mechatronic assembly rather than a stand-alone part.

These 8 diagnostic trouble codes share one detection mechanism and one repair path, which is why MechanicDB groups them into a single authored fault family rather than repeating the same explanation 8 times.
