EGR Cooler Coolant Pump

Diagnostic & Technical Explanation
Code P24A7 (EGR Cooler Coolant Pump Control Circuit/Open) sets when the ECM detects an open circuit, out-of-range current, a stuck-on/stuck-off performance fault, or an implausible feedback signal while driving the auxiliary electric coolant pump that circulates coolant through the EGR cooler to control its temperature. Causes are a seized pump impeller from scale buildup, a failed pump motor winding, or corroded connectors at the pump or its feedback sensor.

These 8 diagnostic trouble codes share one detection mechanism and one repair path, which is why MechanicDB groups them into a single authored fault family rather than repeating the same explanation 8 times.
