Engine Disconnect Clutch Pressure Sensor

Diagnostic & Technical Explanation
Code P28F1 (Engine Disconnect Clutch Pressure Sensor Circuit) sets when the hybrid control module sees an open, shorted, implausible, or intermittent signal from the pressure sensor that confirms hydraulic apply pressure at the engine disconnect clutch. Because this sensor gates every transition between electric and hybrid driving, causes to check are a corroded connector at the transmission case, fluid contamination fouling the sensor port, and a failed sensor element.

These 5 diagnostic trouble codes share one detection mechanism and one repair path, which is why MechanicDB groups them into a single authored fault family rather than repeating the same explanation 5 times.
