Engine Oil Temp Sensor Circuit

Diagnostic & Technical Explanation
Code P0195 (Engine Oil Temperature Sensor A Circuit) sets when the ECM sees an open, shorted, or implausible resistance from the engine oil temperature sensor used for oil-life and thermal-management calculations. Causes are a corroded connector, a failed thermistor element, or a low oil level exposing the sensor tip.

These 11 diagnostic trouble codes share one detection mechanism and one repair path, which is why MechanicDB groups them into a single authored fault family rather than repeating the same explanation 11 times.
