EVAP Purge Solenoid Circuit

Diagnostic & Technical Explanation
Code P0443 (EVAP System Purge Control Valve A Circuit) sets when the ECM detects an open, shorted, out-of-range, or stuck condition while driving an EVAP purge control valve solenoid (valve A or valve B on dual-purge-path platforms). Causes are a failed solenoid coil, a corroded or unseated connector, a mechanically stuck valve from varnish/gum buildup, or damaged wiring between the ECM and the solenoid.

These 12 diagnostic trouble codes share one detection mechanism and one repair path, which is why MechanicDB groups them into a single authored fault family rather than repeating the same explanation 12 times.
