Exhaust Pressure Sensor Circuit

Diagnostic & Technical Explanation
Code P0470 (Exhaust Pressure Sensor A Circuit) sets when the ECM sees an open, shorted, out-of-range, or intermittent signal from an exhaust backpressure sensor (Sensor A or B) used to monitor DPF loading, turbo/EGR control, or exhaust brake operation. Causes are a corroded connector, a failed sensor element, a pressure port clogged with soot, or chafed wiring near the exhaust system's heat.

These 14 diagnostic trouble codes share one detection mechanism and one repair path, which is why MechanicDB groups them into a single authored fault family rather than repeating the same explanation 14 times.
