Fuel Pressure Relief Valve Mechanical

Diagnostic & Technical Explanation
Code P000F (Fuel System Over Pressure Relief Valve Activated) is set when the mechanical over-pressure relief valve on the fuel rail has opened to vent excess pressure, or has activated frequently enough to flag a pattern fault. This points to a stuck-closed or over-commanded fuel pressure regulator/volume regulator driving rail pressure too high, or a relief valve that is weak/leaking and opening prematurely.

These 2 diagnostic trouble codes share one detection mechanism and one repair path, which is why MechanicDB groups them into a single authored fault family rather than repeating the same explanation 2 times.
