Fuel Rail Pressure Low High

Diagnostic & Technical Explanation
Code P0087 (Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too Low Bank 1) sets when measured fuel rail (or low-pressure supply) pressure falls outside the range the ECM commands, whether from the high-pressure pump, the low-pressure lift pump, or a regulator. Typical causes are a weak fuel pump, a clogged fuel filter, a stuck-open or stuck-closed pressure regulator, or an external fuel leak.

These 15 diagnostic trouble codes share one detection mechanism and one repair path, which is why MechanicDB groups them into a single authored fault family rather than repeating the same explanation 15 times.
