HV Battery Pack Coolant Heater

Diagnostic & Technical Explanation
Code P0E12 sets when the control module commands the HV battery pack's coolant heater on to warm the pack in cold conditions and does not see the expected current draw or the resulting coolant-temperature rise within the diagnostic window. The most common physical causes are a failed heating element inside the in-line heater body, a corroded or unseated high-current connector at the heater, and a coolant-flow restriction that prevents the warmed coolant from reaching the pack even though the heater itself is working. Because the pack cannot accept high charge or discharge current below its minimum temperature, a heater fault often surfaces first as a cold-weather power-limitation complaint rather than a standalone code.

These 8 diagnostic trouble codes share one detection mechanism and one repair path, which is why MechanicDB groups them into a single authored fault family rather than repeating the same explanation 8 times.
