Hybrid EV Drive Motor Clutch Circuit

Diagnostic & Technical Explanation
Code P08E7 (Drive Motor A Clutch Enable Circuit) sets when the hybrid/EV transmission control module detects an open circuit, out-of-range voltage, or a performance fault while driving or sensing the electric drive motor's clutch-enable solenoid or park-pawl position sensor. Causes are a failed solenoid or pawl-position sensor, hydraulic/mechanical binding in the pawl mechanism, or damaged control wiring.

These 7 diagnostic trouble codes share one detection mechanism and one repair path, which is why MechanicDB groups them into a single authored fault family rather than repeating the same explanation 7 times.
