Hybrid Powertrain Performance Correlation

Diagnostic & Technical Explanation
Code P0A90 sets when the hybrid powertrain torque/voltage correlation does not track the value the control module calculates from a related, independently-measured signal, indicating the two disagree by more than the allowed tolerance. The most common physical causes are a drifted sensor feeding one side of the comparison, a wiring fault affecting only one of the two correlated signals, and an underlying mechanical fault (worn coupling, slipping belt) that genuinely changes the relationship between the two values.

These 13 diagnostic trouble codes share one detection mechanism and one repair path, which is why MechanicDB groups them into a single authored fault family rather than repeating the same explanation 13 times.
