Invalid Data Infotainment Module

Diagnostic & Technical Explanation

U0462 means an infotainment-domain module sent a status value -- such as a GPS position, telephone signal state, or amplifier fault flag -- that fails a plausibility check while the module remains reachable on the network. Because these values often depend on an external signal (satellite, cellular, or a paired device) rather than a wired sensor, the cause is frequently an antenna connection issue or a corrupted module configuration rather than a hardware failure.

These 27 diagnostic trouble codes share one detection mechanism and one repair path, which is why MechanicDB groups them into a single authored fault family rather than repeating the same explanation 27 times.
