Invalid Data Instrument Display Module

Diagnostic & Technical Explanation
U0423 sets when the instrument cluster or a driver display reports a gauge or indicator value that fails a plausibility check against the source sensor's actual reading -- for example a fuel or temperature gauge value that cannot match the sending sensor's live data. Because the cluster typically just displays data gathered from other modules, invalid data here often traces to a corrupted display configuration or a damaged internal driver circuit rather than the original sensor.

These 11 diagnostic trouble codes share one detection mechanism and one repair path, which is why MechanicDB groups them into a single authored fault family rather than repeating the same explanation 11 times.
