Invalid Data Lighting Module

Diagnostic & Technical Explanation
U0481 sets when an exterior lighting module reports a beam-position, load, or status value outside a plausible range while still communicating normally -- commonly seen after an aftermarket bulb or LED conversion that the module's load-sensing circuit was never designed to read, or a headlamp leveling sensor that has slipped out of alignment after suspension work. The fix targets the specific sensor or load circuit rather than the lighting network itself.

These 14 diagnostic trouble codes share one detection mechanism and one repair path, which is why MechanicDB groups them into a single authored fault family rather than repeating the same explanation 14 times.
