Lost Comm Instrument Display Module

Diagnostic & Technical Explanation
U0155 (Lost Communication With Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) Control Module) indicates loss of contact with the instrument panel cluster, a heads-up display, or a driver information/comfort display. These modules connect through a short, high-density ribbon or board-to-board connector directly behind the dash bezel, so a fault here is more often a cracked or partially seated ribbon connector from dash disassembly during other repairs than a long-run harness break. Because the cluster frequently sits at the center of the vehicle's display and gateway routing, its loss can also make several unrelated systems appear to go dark on the driver display even though only the cluster itself has failed.

These 11 diagnostic trouble codes share one detection mechanism and one repair path, which is why MechanicDB groups them into a single authored fault family rather than repeating the same explanation 11 times.
