Motor Generator Overtemp Shutdown

Diagnostic & Technical Explanation
Code P0A2F sets when the drive motor / generator inverter thermal protection reaches a temperature high enough that the control module derates or shuts down output to prevent damage. The most common physical causes are a low motor electronics coolant level or a restricted coolant flow path, a failing coolant pump, and sustained high-load operation (towing, repeated hard acceleration) that outpaces the cooling system's capacity.

These 13 diagnostic trouble codes share one detection mechanism and one repair path, which is why MechanicDB groups them into a single authored fault family rather than repeating the same explanation 13 times.
