MS CAN Bus Fault

Diagnostic & Technical Explanation
U0010 indicates the medium-speed CAN segment (roughly 125 kbps, typically shared by the BCM, HVAC, and comfort/convenience modules) is not passing valid traffic. Unlike the high-speed backbone, this segment often uses lighter-gauge unshielded twisted wire routed through the dash and door sill pass-throughs, making it more prone to damage from trim removal and water intrusion at the cowl than to engine-bay heat chafe. Diagnosis still starts with confirming roughly 60 ohms across the two wires with the network asleep, then working outward from the dash toward each accessory module.

These 9 diagnostic trouble codes share one detection mechanism and one repair path, which is why MechanicDB groups them into a single authored fault family rather than repeating the same explanation 9 times.
