O2 Sensor Negative Voltage

Diagnostic & Technical Explanation
Code P2A06 (O2 Sensor Negative Voltage Bank 1 Sensor 1) sets when a wideband oxygen sensor's signal swings negative beyond the ECM's calibrated floor, on either bank and any sensor position. A healthy sensor cell should never report a meaningfully negative voltage, so this points to a cracked sensing element letting exhaust gas bypass the reference cell, a sensor heater circuit fault skewing the internal reference, or moisture intrusion at the sensor connector creating a false negative bias.

These 6 diagnostic trouble codes share one detection mechanism and one repair path, which is why MechanicDB groups them into a single authored fault family rather than repeating the same explanation 6 times.
