Oil Quality Sensor Circuit

Diagnostic & Technical Explanation
Code P252A (Engine Oil Quality Sensor Circuit) sets when the ECM sees an open, shorted, or implausible signal from the oil-quality (dielectric/condition) sensor used for extended oil-change interval calculations, or the sensor reports oil chemically deteriorated beyond its useful life. Causes are sensor fouling from sludge buildup, a corroded in-pan connector, or oil genuinely overdue for a change diluting its dielectric properties.

These 6 diagnostic trouble codes share one detection mechanism and one repair path, which is why MechanicDB groups them into a single authored fault family rather than repeating the same explanation 6 times.
