Reductant Pump Heater Circuit

Diagnostic & Technical Explanation
Code P05ED (Reductant Heater Control Module Supply Voltage) sets when the SCR/aftertreatment module detects an open circuit, out-of-range voltage, or a performance fault while driving the reductant (DEF) supply pump or its heater, both used to keep urea solution flowing and unfrozen for SCR NOx reduction. Causes are a failed pump motor, crystallized urea fouling the pump/heater, a corroded connector, or damaged wiring in the tank module.

These 7 diagnostic trouble codes share one detection mechanism and one repair path, which is why MechanicDB groups them into a single authored fault family rather than repeating the same explanation 7 times.
