SRS Impact Rollover Sensor Circuit

Diagnostic & Technical Explanation
Code B0090 (Left Frontal Restraints Sensor) sets when the SRS module loses a valid signal from one of the satellite impact sensors mounted in the doors, pillars, or frontal crush zones, or from the rollover sensor, all of which feed the crash-severity algorithm that decides which restraints to deploy and how aggressively. A circuit fault here means the module cannot fully evaluate a future crash event at that location even though no crash has occurred, which is why these codes command the SRS warning lamp on immediately. Common causes are a corroded connector at a door- or pillar-mounted sensor exposed to moisture, a chafed harness at a door hinge or sill, or physical damage to the sensor from a prior minor collision that was never inspected.

These 16 diagnostic trouble codes share one detection mechanism and one repair path, which is why MechanicDB groups them into a single authored fault family rather than repeating the same explanation 16 times.
