SRS Warning Lamp Indicator Circuit

Diagnostic & Technical Explanation
Code B00D0 (Driver Seat Belt Indicator) sets when the SRS module cannot drive the instrument cluster warning lamp, the audible chime, or the passenger-airbag-off indicator to its commanded state, or the driver-operated passenger restraints disable switch reports an implausible signal. These are driver-notification circuits rather than deployment circuits, so the usual causes are a failed lamp driver in the instrument cluster, a corroded switch connector, or an open circuit in the shared indicator wiring. Because the lamp is the driver's only warning that a real restraint fault exists, this circuit should be repaired promptly even though it does not by itself disable any airbag.

These 7 diagnostic trouble codes share one detection mechanism and one repair path, which is why MechanicDB groups them into a single authored fault family rather than repeating the same explanation 7 times.
