TCS Control Valve Circuit

Diagnostic & Technical Explanation
Code C0001 (TCS Control Channel A Valve 1) sets when the ABS/traction control module cannot drive one of the hydraulic control unit's traction-control solenoid valves to its commanded state, or the PWM duty cycle used to modulate that valve falls outside the expected current range. The valve coil, its connector pins inside the HCU harness, or the driver stage inside the module are the usual physical causes. Because this valve shares the hydraulic block with the ABS channels, a stuck or non-responsive valve can also produce a harsh or incomplete traction-control intervention on slippery surfaces.

These 5 diagnostic trouble codes share one detection mechanism and one repair path, which is why MechanicDB groups them into a single authored fault family rather than repeating the same explanation 5 times.
