Throttle Actuator Learning Limit

Diagnostic & Technical Explanation
Code P2C99 (Throttle Actuator A Control Exceeded Learning Limit) sets when the electronic throttle body's closed-throttle or full-travel position adaptation, on actuator A or B, hits its calibration limit instead of settling on a valid learned value. A throttle bore fouled with carbon buildup that shifts the true closed position, a worn throttle plate stop, or a throttle motor that cannot reach true closed/full-open are the common causes.

These 2 diagnostic trouble codes share one detection mechanism and one repair path, which is why MechanicDB groups them into a single authored fault family rather than repeating the same explanation 2 times.
