System: Body (B-Code)
SAE Standard (Generic)
Family: ADAS Camera Module Circuit
Code B0125: Night Vision Control Module
Diagnostic & Technical Explanation
Code B0125 (Night Vision Control Module) sets when the module cannot establish power or communication with the night vision camera, its dedicated control module, or the driver monitoring camera used for attention/drowsiness detection. Unlike a forward-facing ADAS camera bolted to the windshield, these units are often mounted in the instrument cluster hood or A-pillar and share a dedicated power and data circuit with their control module, so a fault here typically traces to a connector at that mounting location, a blown fuse on a shared feed, or a failed camera imaging element. Losing this camera disables its specific driver-assist or monitoring feature but does not affect core ADAS functions fed by the primary forward camera.
