Code P000B: B Camshaft Position Slow Response Bank 1

Diagnostic & Technical Explanation
Code P000B (B Camshaft Position Slow Response Bank 1) sets when a variable valve timing actuator takes longer than the ECM expects to reach its commanded position after a phasing request. The leading causes are degraded engine oil (low pressure or sludge blocking the oil control valve screen), a sticking oil control valve, or wear inside the phaser itself that increases mechanical slack.
