Family: EVAP Purge Flow Sensor Circuit
Code P0469: EVAP Purge Flow Sensor Circuit Intermittent
Diagnostic & Technical Explanation
Code P0469 (EVAP Purge Flow Sensor Circuit Intermittent) sets when the ECM sees an open, shorted, out-of-range, or intermittent signal from the dedicated purge flow sensor that measures actual vapor flow through the purge line, separate from the purge solenoid itself. Causes are a corroded connector, a failed sensor element (often a hot-wire or vane-type flow sensor), or chafed wiring in the purge line harness.
