EVAP Purge Flow Sensor Circuit

Diagnostic & Technical Explanation
Code P0465 (EVAP Purge Flow Sensor Circuit) sets when the ECM sees an open, shorted, out-of-range, or intermittent signal from the dedicated purge flow sensor that measures actual vapor flow through the purge line, separate from the purge solenoid itself. Causes are a corroded connector, a failed sensor element (often a hot-wire or vane-type flow sensor), or chafed wiring in the purge line harness.

These 5 diagnostic trouble codes share one detection mechanism and one repair path, which is why MechanicDB groups them into a single authored fault family rather than repeating the same explanation 5 times.
