System: Powertrain (P-Code)
SAE Standard (Generic)
Family: Air Cleaner Inlet Control
Code P2676: Air Cleaner Inlet Control Circuit Low
Diagnostic & Technical Explanation
Code P2676 (Air Cleaner Inlet Control Circuit Low) sets when the ECM detects an open circuit, a short to ground, or a short to voltage while driving the air cleaner inlet control actuator, which selects between a cold outside-air duct and a warm underhood duct or opens a second inlet for high-airflow demand. Causes are a failed inlet door actuator motor or vacuum solenoid, a binding door pivot clogged with debris drawn into the air box, or damaged control wiring near the air cleaner housing.
