Charge Port Door Unlock Control

Diagnostic & Technical Explanation
Code P0CD1 sets when the control module commands the charge port door's unlock actuator and the driver circuit reports an open, a short, or a current level outside the expected window. The most common physical causes are a corroded or unseated connector at the actuator, a chafed drive-circuit conductor in the fender harness run, and an internally failed actuator solenoid. Because this actuator only releases the mechanical latch, a fault here prevents the door from unlocking even when the open-request switch and position sensor both report correctly, isolating the fault to the latch mechanism itself.

These 8 diagnostic trouble codes share one detection mechanism and one repair path, which is why MechanicDB groups them into a single authored fault family rather than repeating the same explanation 8 times.
