Fuel Injector Control Module Circuit

Diagnostic & Technical Explanation
Code P0611 (Fuel Injector Control Module Performance) sets when the ECM detects a performance fault or relay-control problem with a standalone fuel injector control module (a separate high-current driver box used on some diesel/GDI platforms), distinct from an internal ECM injector-drive channel. Causes are a failed driver module, a bad power relay for the module, or damaged wiring/connector at the module.

These 2 diagnostic trouble codes share one detection mechanism and one repair path, which is why MechanicDB groups them into a single authored fault family rather than repeating the same explanation 2 times.
