PCV Regulator Valve Circuit

Diagnostic & Technical Explanation
Code P052E (PCV Regulator Valve Performance) sets when the ECM detects an open circuit, out-of-range voltage, or a performance fault while driving the electronically controlled PCV regulator valve that meters crankcase gas flow. Causes are a failed regulator solenoid coil, sludge or carbon jamming the valve plunger, or damaged control wiring between the ECM and the valve.

These 4 diagnostic trouble codes share one detection mechanism and one repair path, which is why MechanicDB groups them into a single authored fault family rather than repeating the same explanation 4 times.
