Shift Lock Interlock Circuit

Diagnostic & Technical Explanation
Code P081F (Brake Transmission Shift Interlock (BTSI) Signal Correlation) sets when the BCM/TCM detects a correlation mismatch on the brake-shift interlock signal, or an open circuit/out-of-range voltage while driving the shift-lock solenoid that prevents shifting out of Park without the brake applied. Causes are a failed shift-lock solenoid, a misadjusted brake switch feeding the interlock, or damaged control wiring at the shifter assembly.

These 11 diagnostic trouble codes share one detection mechanism and one repair path, which is why MechanicDB groups them into a single authored fault family rather than repeating the same explanation 11 times.
