Throttle Body Stuck

Diagnostic & Technical Explanation
P2072 (Throttle Actuator Control System - Ice Blockage Bank 1) indicates the throttle plate itself is not moving to its commanded position even though the motor circuit and position sensors test correctly, pointing to a mechanical restriction rather than an electrical fault. Baked-on carbon deposits ringing the throttle bore, condensation freezing on the plate edge in cold, humid conditions, and a foreign object or heavy corrosion binding the shaft bearings are the usual causes.

These 6 diagnostic trouble codes share one detection mechanism and one repair path, which is why MechanicDB groups them into a single authored fault family rather than repeating the same explanation 6 times.
